History

The Year is 1860, the Italian King Victor Emmanuel II has heard ancient treasure is buried near Mount Vesuvius. Intrigued he hires archaeologist Giuseppe Fiorelli and a crew of 500 workmen to excavate the site. What will you find?

Parents could print the objects and hide around the house. Discuss what you think each object is used for. What does it tell us about life in Roman times?
